Nick Arfaras

With extensive experience in the corporate world Nick Arfaras brings a rare combination of technical and business expertise to any project he works on. Nick earned a degree in environmental science and began his career as a chemist; a role that helped him develop the troubleshooting skills which he now uses to manage workstation and network issues.

Nick started his IT career by leading successful major platform and architectural migrations such as Token Ring networks to 10baseT networks and Novell to Microsoft NT 4.0 server solutions at well-known corporations including Rayovac, CUNA Mutual and Alliant Energy. Nick has built PCs and servers for industry leaders such as Digital Equipment, HP, Compaq and IBM. Working for GE in the financial services division, Nick provided client support and was instrumental in preparing the business for Y2K.

A mainstay on the UBS trading floor for the past seven years, Nick understands the needs of traders and financial firms as well as those of board room executives having expanded his role at UBS to include executive level support and development of disaster recovery solutions. Armed with his experience in global organizations Nick has a keen sense of the challenges facing business today and delivers innovative, practical solutions that give clients a competitive advantage.
